Property Description

Hard to find Scott County 2.5 acre homesite with outbuildings and a convenient location just on outskirts of the Quad Cities. This acreage is setup for a small farmette and is ready for the new owner to make it their own. To the west of the home is a 60x23 open shed which could be used for a few head of cattle, horses, or equipment storage. Behind that is 72x20 open confinement building with concrete pads out front, perfect for raising a several head of hogs. Other buildings on the acreage include 62x30 barn with hayloft, a metal grain bin, and a small grainery barn just off the grain bin. Just to the east of the house sits a detached two car garage. The home on the property is a classic, large farmhouse built in the early 1900's. Inside you will find 4 beds and 1.5 baths, large room sizes, all with loads of original character. Most the rooms with carpeting have the original wood floors beneath. This home is in need of remodeling and updates, and is waiting for a new owner to make it their own. New septic in 2025. Metal roof was installed in 2020. Any exterior fencing required by new owner will be cost and responsibility of the new owner. Orange flags placed around the property indicate approximate new parcel boundaries. Final acreage will be determined by official survey, paid for by seller, and may vary slightly from stated parcel size of 2.5 acres. New tax parcel will be created once recorded with the property along with new tax assessment. Property is being sold "As-Is".
